Clan: MoonClan
Breed: American Shorthair
Personality:
Cloudchaser is a very motherly cat, she hates seeing other cats hurt or sad, so she is usually the one comforting them. Her cheerful nature and optimism leads her to help cats in times of difficulty. Cloudchaser is a very playful cat, who likes to goof off from time to time, claiming that it keeps her from aging too fast, some think of her as irresponsible, but Cloudchaser would put her life on the line for any of her clan mates. She has very strong morals, most of them revolve around the warrior code, but she doesn't like the fact that the code only ever is to help cats of their own clan, not cats in general. Despite some of her doubts, she if a very loyal cat, her clan is her life and would never do anything to betray their trust.Apperance:
Although Cloudchaser is young, she is actually very interested about the world around her. She loves to question things and just stop to think for a moment. She also has a keen interest in two legs and other animals, but tries to keep her deep interest for them from her clan. She is embarrassed by the thoughts she has about going to observe the two legs and animals.
To her clan mates, Cloudchaser is the cat you can go to with all your secrets and know that she won't tell a soul. She never lets it show, but all these secrets weight heavily on Cloudchaser's shoulders, she feels like it would be her fault if something went wrong that had to do with the secret.
Despite her happy exterior, Cloudchaser never lets any cat into her heart, if she is feeling sad or depressed, she just moves on, but this seems to haunt her at night in the form of nightmares.
Around unknown cats, Cloudchaser will always give them a chance to explain themselves before she does anything too drastic.
History:
The base color of Cloudchaser's coat is a pale, sandy brown color that helps her blend into her forest surroundings of MoonClan. She has darker brown patterns swirled into her pelt, striped in her tail and framed her face. The last few stripes in her tail are a dark brown, almost black color. Cloudchaser has a pink nose and rather long whiskers that help her with tracking, she also has abnormally long ears that help her detect even the smallest sound. Cloudchaser's eyes are a vibrant, bright green eyes that are always shining with life. Cloudchaser is a rather slim cat that helps her menover around trees rather easily, but has strong back legs for jumping. Cloudchaser is very good at hunting birds due to her jumping ability, and can run pretty fast. Most of Cloudchaser's energy goes into tracking for her clan, if a kit goes missing, she's usually the first they will call.
Cloudchaser was born the run of a litter of four, but survived her first leaf bare along with one other sister, Sacredkit. Her name at the time was Skykit. Unfortunately, the rest of the litter died due to the harsh conditions. The entire clan was surprised that the runt of the litter had survived, but once Skykit opened her eyes it was obvious, the little kit survived because of her strong will to live.RPG Example:
When Skykit became Skypaw, she was assigned a rather elderly tom, Rowanleaf, who was a deep thinker. Skypaw followed in his paw steps and started to think deeply for long periods of time. Rowanleaf also influenced Skypaw to become his legacy of the greatest tracker in the clan. Half way through her trainer, Skypaw became terrible sick and the clan thought once again the runt wasn't going to make. Skypaw's sister, Sacredpaw would always cry when she saw her sister laying in the medicine cat's den, ready to die, but Skypaw promised she wouldn't. Luckily, Skypaw became healthy soon and continued her training with new enthusiasm. She soon earned her warrior title Cloudchaser, for all the time she spends with her head up in the clouds, the leader explained.
Cloudchaser seemed to be having a lot of bad luck, because only a few moons later did disaster strike once again. It was the middle of leaf bare when Cloudchaser was out hunting with a small group of clan mates. A sudden snow storm hit and the patrol was forced to head back, but Cloudchaser got lost on the way back to camp. She couldn't even see her own nose as she continued to walk. After a while she collapsed from exhaustion, when she next opened her eyes, a faint outline of a cat was above her. Cloudchaser managed to push herself to her paws and follow the cat as it disappeared into the gathering storm. Somehow, that cat had given Cloudchaser the will to keep going and finally find the camp. The entire clan was relived when Cloudchaser finally showed up, they couldn't go out to look for her because the snow was so bad. Cloudchaser claimed that a cat from StarClan saved her, does that mean that StarClan has some plans in sort for her?
~*~Cloudchaser~*~From where?:
Caw! Caw!
The sharp alarm cry of a small group of black birds filled the silent air a second before the desperate flutter of wings did. Black feathers were scattered everywhere along with a flurry of snow, as a flash of movement burst forth from the bushes not too far from the flock of black birds. Just as the birds got a few fox lengths off the ground, the shape attacked. With an abnormally powerful spring, for such a species, the cat flung itself into the air and hood its claws into the black birds body. A shrill cry came from the bird as the weight slammed into it, bring it crashing back to the ground. As its fellows took to the sky, the one lone bird tired to make a desperate attempt to free itself, but didn't get far before it was brought back to the ground due to the cat's quick reflexes. The cat's lip curled upward in a snarl before locking itself into the bird's side, slowly letting it succumb to the jaws of death.
Cloudchaser released the bird once she was sure it was no longer moving. Putting her fore paw onto the carcass, the warrior lifted her head, keeping her gaze on the bird. She was panting, the adrenalin of a good hunt still humming in her veins. Stepping away from her kill, Cloudchaser turned her attention to the sky above her, searching for the other birds, seeing if they would land again so she could go after them once again. To her disappointment, they were gone, heading to wards ThunderClan territory. Snorting in disappointment, Cloudchaser glanced around the snowy landscape of WindClan.
A blur of moment caught her eye, as she watch an orange apprentice dart after a rabbit. Wow, she's pretty quick. Cloudchaser thought to herself, unconsciously taking a step to wards the direction of the apprentice. When the she cat took the rabbit down with difficulty, Cloudchaser smiled at her determination.
The warrior glanced at her catch, and quickly buried it under the snow for safe keeping, before trotting quickly to wards the apprentice, a little glitter in her eyes.
She let out a little laugh at the apprentices state, she was obviously trying really hard. "That was a catch worthy of a warrior!" Cloudchaser meowed honestly, taking her place next to the she cat and looking at her like a mother would her own kit.
