Silverstar went up to the Highrock, this was finally the moment, Crecentpaw wouldn't be the only one in the apprentice den. She gave a loud yowl, signaling everybody to come, "Let all cats old enough to catch here own prey come beneath the High Rock for a clan meeting." It was Jaykit's apprentice ceremony. The blue-silver she-cat stood proudly on the High Rock. Remembering when she was first leader, or when she was apprenticed and turned into a warrior. Oh, those moments, sweet moments when she was on the high rock. Silverstar favored those moments, everyone of them . Just like this one. He looked down at the already gathering cats. Proudly as Jaykit was going to be apprenticed.

Jaykit calmy padded in front of the High Rock, she looked at her leader. Her eyes full of hope, happiness, and excitment. She was going to be an apprenitce! She loved the feeling of that she was going to become a warrior and help the clan.

Greyheart poked his sleepy head out of the warriors den. His fur was ruffled up and messy, but he didn't care. For all he knew was that this was some silly 'we found bones at the border' announcement. He yawned. Noticing the excitement in the leaders eyes he remembered what today was. He sat down and rapidly started fixing his fur. 'How could I be so stupid!' He thought. The one paw he was putting all his weight onto slipped with the soft durt and he fell flat on the ground causeing a dust could. "Foxdung!" He scrambled onto his paws.

Silverstar made a glance at Greyheart, not, moving her head or body, just her eyes as he made a small dust cloud in the distance, she returned her gaze back to the apprentice below her, she flickered her tail for the apprentice to come beneath the Highrock. Her light freen eyes scanned the clearing, from Greyheart, probably just woken up with his fur matted, to Jaykit, which seemed to be calm, but excited. She would assign Jaykit to Greyheart of course, but who was next for an apprentice? Maybe no one in a long time, the water was running out, everybody was mostly dehydrated. Soon, the clan would starve, maybe even die out. No! Silverstar shook the thought out of her head mentally. No one would die from dehydration under her watch, no one. Her green orbs of light gazed over the clan now, waiting for Jaykit to come.

Jaykit padded beneath the Highrock. Trembling at first, then she got ahold of herself and stayed calm. Her storm-cloud like pelt glimmering in the sun's light. She relived the memories of kit-hood. She was finally going to be an apprenitce.

Greyheart frantically cleaned and straitened his fur. He didn't want to look messy. Quickly he straightened the last bit of messy fur and rushed over to the high rock. He sat down next to some other cats that gave him a dirty look for being late. He just put his ears back and turned his gaze upon the leader. He changed his views from Silverstar to Jaykit. A ball of excitement formed in his stomach as he waited for Silverstar to continue.

Silverstar sighed, this was going very quickly. None the less, Silverstar kept going, even though some cats gave GReyheart dirty looks, Silverstar gave a small smile, "This is a proud day for MistClan, by naming apprentices we show the MistClan will survive and remain strong. Jaykit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Jaypaw. Greyheart, you are ready for an apprentice, you will be Jaypaw's mentor. I know you will pass on your strength and wisdom to Jaypaw, and teach her the skills that will make her a brave warrior of MistClan." Silverstar switched her gaze to Jaypaw, a bigger smile on her maw as Jaypaw has seemed so energetic today. She remembered at when she was apprenticed, Blazeheart, he was so forgiving, even when she had made mistakes. I remember. She thought, the snapping back to reality, waiting for Greyheart to come.

Greyheart got up and padded forward to Jaypaw. He bent his head down to touch noses with the new apprentice. 'I promise to train you to the best of my ability!' He thought to himself. "We should probably go look through the territory first huh?"

Jaypaw trembled with excitment. "Sure!" She meowed excitedly. She was so happy she was an apprentice, but a hidden voice in her mind told her that her mother wasn't here to see her grow up. Neither was her father.

Fireface padded over to Jaypaw before her and her mentor left. "Congratulations young one. You will be a strong warrior." Fireface brushed her tail over Jaypaw's back as she walked back into the clearing.
