Slowly and gracefully, Ebonyfire rose from her little spot under a nice warm ray of sun. The sun had been generous ever since Newleaf had come. She loved a nice while under the sun. She had just finished a mouse and was ready for a something more fun. She was deputy of the clan and probably had a job to do. She wondered where Lightstar had disappeared to.
Ebonyfire place a paw carefully in front her of her, and began walking to the camp entrance. She padded closer, then plopped down, her tail waved back and forth. Giving a small sniff, she smelled Lightstar and Nightpaw had left earlier.
They must have gone to train She thought. Standing back up, she left the camp to go hunt by herself.

Foxpaw noticed the deputy padd away. "H-Hey! Wait for me!" He bounded up to her. "W-What are you doing?" Before she could answer her blurted out, "C-can I come?" He was bored in camp and was hoping for a chace to get out and do something.

Lightstar left the medicine cat den, nodding gracefully to the medicine cat. In a sweeping motion, the leader tentivly set her paw down lightly upon the grond, wincing in pain. Hunting would keep her mind off of the snagged claw, so she left camp, nodding to Nightaw as she left. Outside of the camp, Lightstar was hit with a sudden thought. he ha to tel Ebonyfire about her past as a rouge. But secretly. Not even in her den. She would tell the Clan when she was ready. Noticing her deputy and Foxpaw near her, Lightstar bounded over to them. "Hello, Ebonyfire and Foxpaw," she said, shifting her weight anxiously. "Ebonyfire, can I talk to you, please?" Lightstar waited on the other cat to answer her.
((OOC: Maybe Foxpaw could overhear Lightstar telling Ebonyfire that she used to be a rouge, and Foxpaw could tell Light's apprentice, Nightpaw. Then they could tell, for instance, Feathrstorm and set off a chain reaction, causing Light to tell her Clan her secrt? Sounds fun, to me. ^^))

Ebonyfire looked back at Foxpaw, "Uh.. Sure" She said. She would like to see how the apprentice was coming along. Then Lightstar padded up. " Lightstar." She dipped her head.
Ebonyfire took in Lightstar words. "Okay Lightstar." She looked at Foxpaw . " Later, I promise" she said and padded to stand next to Lightstar.

Nightpaw bounded over to Foxpaw. His wounds on his stomach had cob webs in them. "Hey, Foxpaw, want to practice some battle moves? I've gotten better since last time," he mewed, pushing the other apprentice a bit. He wanted to brag how he had chased a fox off the territory.

Lightstar motioned with her silver tail towards a more selcuded area, a bit farther from where Foxpaw and Nightpaw were talking. "Nightpaw, please be careful," she called towards her apprentice. "I really don't want to have to stop your training for a careless mistake." She knew she sounded harsh, but Nightpaw could become a warrior faster this way.
The BoneClan leader turned back towards her deputy, Ebonyfire. "Ebonyfire, I apologize for how I acted at the Gathering. Mostly I shouldn't have said anything like that because I was born a rouge." There was an akward pause as Lightstar let the news sink in.

Ebonyfire watched quietly as Nightpaw appeared. She turned her head to Lightstar. She followed her over and sat down. Her eyes widened as Lightstar spoke. Anger, mistrust and shock flooded her.
She somewhat felt she knew her leader was different. She was angry that her leader never told her. This must have been before her time. She felt a slight mistrust towards her. She pushed it away. Lightstar had always been Lightstar. Nothing changed sinced she spoke the truth behind her birth.
There was nothing different. "I see Lightstar.
[/color]" Her vioce was soft and had a echo like feature. She was a quiet cat and didnt have much to say about this. " It is fine, Lightstar, I loose no trust, faith, or loyalty to you." She said evenly, her expression unreadable. She was like that. Unreadable. She wanted her leader to know that this didnt matter to her, she smiled. [/color][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

[glow=black,2,300]Wasppaw[/glow]
Time. Time to get up. My brain worked in fragments as it attempted to alert me to the point of day it was. Being a cat of my own freewill, it wasn't uncommon for me to do as I please, which included waking in the morning. No one told me what time it was, I told them.
A smirk crossed my maw as this thought settled in. There was times that I amused myself, being a tough-girl when I really just wanted a friend. Normally this thought brought sorrow, but not on this day. Instead, I got to my paws and took my time in stretching. The inside of the apprentice den was cool, virtually empty. Foxpaw and Nightpaw had already risen. Big surprise, little brown-nosers. I scoffed quitely to myself before sitting back to lick any rubbage from my pelt.
Once satisfyed with my appearance, I exited the darkness and into the light. Faint beams of the sun ricashayed off my pelt, warming my skin and sending off it's starlight glow. It took a second before my eyes adjusted to the change in brightness, but once it did, I angled my walk towards where I scented my mentor. I desired to be trained, and I hoped Ebonyfire was up to it. Or at leased up to a hunting patrol.
My maw opened to call the deputy, my mentor's, name, but it quickly shut tight as Ebonyfire's scent was joined by Lightstar's. They were having a secret meeting. A cold smile crossed my lips as I inched closer, so as to be downwind and out of sight.
"I was born a rouge."
Jackpot! Those were the only words I caught escape Lightstar's mouth, but it was enough to make my day so much better. Sure, I'm not clanborn, but this is our leader, Lightstar! Perfect in every way, Lightstar! Well, not so perfect now...A cold cackle escaped my lips before I spun and raced to Foxpaw and Nightpaw. "Never will you guess what I just learned." My voice was low, sly, and teasing as my eyes danced between the two.
OOC//: Hope it's okay I came butting in here, but I read above that you wanted the news to be spread and Wasppaw is just the sort of sick and cruel feline to do it If you want me to change my post, let me know and I will

Nightpaw turned towards Wasppaw. His ears lied back against his head. He knew that smile and that look. She had someone's secret. Maybe it was his or Foxpaw's. He knew it would bring trouble to the clan, but he so badly wanted to know. He looked around to make sure no one was listening and then looked back at the she-cat in front of him. "What?" his eyes held interest in them.

Foxpaw looked at Nightpaw, "S-Sure..."He trailed off noticeing Wasppaws smerk. He didn't care, what Wasppaw found out, He hated secrets. What he hated most though was spreading secrets. They are supposed to be secrets for a reason.

((OOC: of course you can join in, Bhuvana; perfect timeing, too))
Lightstar nodded her head at her deputy. She knew that she should have told Ebonyfire before, but now seemed like the best time. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner," Lightstar told the other she-cat. She dipped her head lightly.
There was always the slight chance that Ebonyfire was mad and untrustworthy of her, but that was something both she-cats were going to have to deal with.
As Lightstar left the space, she thought she heard Ebonyfire sigh. The leader walked towards a scent trail. After all, she was going to go hunt before anyone else could notice she had left. Bt then she noticed the three apprentices, Nightpaw, Foxpaw, and Wasppaw. Wasppaw had a cruel unnerving look on her face, but Lightstar ignored it. She brushed by the apprentices.

Ebonyfire sighed quietly as Lightstar walked away. She stood up and followed Lightstar over to where the apprentices talked quietly. "Wasppaw. Training." She said evenly as she walked by and right out the camp entrance.

Nightpaw's words were said with interest, while Foxpaw was more hesitant with a reply. My gaze fell on the timid apprentice, giving him a toothy grin, showing off my abnormally large canines. I'd never hurt a member of my Clan, but scaring someone was an activity I enjoyed.
Looking back to the eagerest of the two, my toothy grin turned sly again as I leaned closer to the two. With a look over my shoulder to be sure the coast was clear, I became satisfyed and parted me maw to hiss my discovery. Lightstar slid by but I didn't slow or stop, knowing the leader would pay us no mind.
"Wasppaw. Training."
I gave an eep of surprise before taking a quick step backwards, almost colliding with my mentor as she moved past and exited the camp. I gave a frustrated grumble, not happy that I would have to miss any reaction that the apprentices had, but I couldn't be too late for the training, or Ebonyfire would question my actions.
With a fluid movement, I ran by the apprentices and, without stopping, hissed frantically in the ears. "Lightstar is a rouge." With the secret out, I quickly followed the path of my mentor, a grin wide on my face. Lightstar wasn't just a loner, she was a rouge. Hmm, perhaps even I, who is not pure of blood, has a chance at success in this Clan. If I prove a fine warrior, I could be leader, even if not born into this Clan.

Nightpaw felt like his eyes were just clawed. He sat down slowly, realizing that his mentor-no- his leader had been lying to him, to the clan. He looked around. "Later, Foxpaw," he mewed before bounding after Lightstar. He wanted to be sure. He had to know. She was the closest cat to him and he looked up to her. Why wouldn't she tell him? It didn't make much since.

Lightstar sat in her den, laying low to the ground, sad and unsure. The only cats other than her family that had ever known about her origins were the leader before her and the medicine cat. Nightpaw meowed outside her den door, and se reluctantly let him in. Hisface gave way to Lightstar's caution meter. Her face turned pure white as she realized Nightpaw could have heard her...
