Silverstar yowl in pain as Lightstar raked her claws down her back. Lightstar, she had underestimated her, though the leader knew that she could do better, Silverstar still tried to stand up, though Lightstar's weight still pinned her down, she wouldn't give up. The leader would never call her clan back. She'd fight to the finish, if the clan would stand longer, so would she. Silverstar looked at poor Silverstorm, her faithful warrior, no, a friend, that was dragged away by Boneclan's medicine cat. They'd probably take Silverstorm as a prisoner, or just torment her while Boneclan waits for Mistclan to attack. She hated herself for getting into this. She hated Lightstar for being so hostile, independent. In this moment, she even hated Starclan for this catastrophe.

Nightpaw finally shoved the large cat off. He was panting. He felt like he was going to be sick and he was sore all over. He felt a rush of homesickness and wished to be back in the camp, watching over it instead of on this patrol. It was true, he was giving up. This was one patrol against a whole clan of warriors! What were they supposed to do?
Hawkrise growled, his muscles tensing. He looked around, many cats laying on the ground too tired to fight anymore. Others were determined to win this. And the rest, helping each other stay alive. He sighed, and looked at Nightpaw. "Get up and help your clan, I wont fight you when both of our clans are dying," he snapped, turning and trying to get Lightstar off of Silverstorm. "Our clans are dying from the injuries. We have to stop before all of us end up dying from using so much energy or losing so much blood," he stated, practically begging.
Leopardpaw hadn't even made it across the border. He was half helping, half dragging a hurt clan mate back across when others slowed him down. He looked annoyed and worried when he tripped over a root and ended up laying there, too tired to move. Was this the end of the clans? Or was this only the end of a few warrior's lives? Either way he was happy he would die in a battle like this. It was for his clan. Or was he going to die?

Greyheart stumbled backward as another cat attacked him. He only gave a short growl before trying to toss the cat from his back. His only thought was to roll onto the other cat to make it let go, but he couldn't. The cat had a ferm grip on his fur. A loud yowl rang out. It wasn't his, but another warriors. He couldn't tell who though.

Featherstorm was released, he escaped out of Greyheart's grasp as the tom stumbled backwards. He ran over to Hawkrise, who was trying to get Lightstar off of Silverstar. He tried to tackle him, Lightstar wasn't going to to be interrupted here, this was her battle with Silverstar. Featherstorm grunted, somewhat weak from battling with Greyheart.

Hawkrise hissed as he was knocked over. "Let me up! Let me up," he growled, pushing up against the other cat's belly with his hind paws. His bright blue eye looked straight up at the other cat. "Featherstorm, get off of me," he snarled, as he stopped squirming under the other warrior. His claws came out, sending them into the other cat's stomach.
Nightpaw got up slowly. He was tired, barely able to stand. His tail drooped, wondering if this battle was ever going to be over. He yowled loudly, leaping at a cat. Suddenly he hit the ground hard. He looked up to see a huge orange tabby cat on top of him. He quivered. He had not seen this cat before, and he didn't smell like a Boneclan cat. "W-who are you?" he whispered.
Thunder snarled at the black cat he had pinned down. "I am your worst nightmare. Do not attack me ever again, or i will kill you next time," he growled.
"Let him up, Thunder. He's only a cat in training, plus we're only passing by," a smaller silver tabby mewed. His amber eyes were looking straight at the larger cat and soon the larger cat listened and got off of Nightpaw.

Lightstar felt tension roll down her shoulders and spine. Sweat was causing her fur to stick to her flanks in the most unflattering way. The BoneClan leader was sick of fighting. She felt horrible! There seemed to be no reason why she should allow her Clan to fight this way. Nothing good was coming of this battle. Too many cats were injured, and she couldn't let this happen to BoneClan or MistClan! Lightstar immediatly let go of Silverstar. She could tell she had surprised the other silve she-cat, but Lightstar didn't care. She just wanted to finish this dumb battle and get her Clan back to its state of peace, not that they were a bit wary of her because of her old life and origin.
Instead of harming Silverstar more, Lightstar turned towards the other cats. Somehow during their tussle, Silverstar and Lightstar had rolled towards the MistClan border. It would be so easy for Silverstar to call off her cats, but she did not. She kept on going. A voice in Lightstar's head turned her around to once again face the she-cat that was lying on the ground. Kill her, it told Lightstar. Just get it over with! Yet Lightstar did not. She just couldn't force herself to kill her enemy who was once her best friend. They were friends as apprentices and a bit as warriors, but now it was different. She jumped at Silverstar, claws spread at the ready. Just as she was about to sink into Silverstar, a force drew her back, and she saw a ginger and white tom-cat.
Eagle drew Light off of the other leader, Silverstar. He couldn't bear to watch these cats kill each other. He had to do something. Yet at the same time, he wondered and scolded himself for why he dared interfere with another leader's plans. The tom dropped Light- no wait, Lightstar- on the ground, and for some reason, the leader was flailing on the ground. In a quick call, Eagle hollered out, "Someone help me hold her back! We can't let her kill this other cat!" As he said this, Eagle looked right into the eyes of a silver tom over by another apprentice that was black. He reconized his good friend, Lightning, but shoved off the look of his enemy, Thunder. "Lightning, come help me," he yelled. Lightstar's face was contorted with pain from the inside. She looked like there was an inner battle raging inside her, which there was. but he didn't know that.

Lightning turned when he heard his name. He saw Eagle and smiled. "C'mon, Thunder, we have to help Eagle," he mewed, bounding over to the ginger and white tom. He grabbed Lightstar's two front paws and held them down.
Thunder growled and followed his brother. He didn't like Eagle. He never did. He didn't know why, maybe he forgot something or maybe it was just the way Eagle looked. He shook the thought from his mind and pinned the leaders back paws down while sitting on her. He made sure she could still breath, though.
Nightpaw bounded after them and stopped. He blinked and looked at Lightstar. He yowled in shock and bent down near her. "Lightstar! Lightstar can you hear me?" he asked.

Lightstar opened her eyes, weak from the battle. Who was that cat? Nightpaw. "Please go Nightpaw. Run." And Eagle! She knew him... and she prayed to StarClan that he didn't reconize her. Then the she-cat saw two other cats around him, talking to him. Light made her move. She jumped up, knocking one cat from off her back and the other away from her paws. "Okay, guys," she meowed. "Time to-"
Then Lightstar, the BoneClan leader, jumped back at Silverstar to silence her once and for all. The she-cat bit swiftly into her neck, holding on until she felt no more heart pounding in Silverstar's body. The blood from her enemy- once friend- was stiff in her mouth, bitter but metallic... like the cage... that one day... Lightstar screamed.
A zip shocked her body, and her eyes automatically closed. Waking up, she was startled to find herself in a place of beauty. Silver grass lined her paws, and the air was warm and sweet- but not too hot. Just, well, perfect. Yet the she-cat somehow knew where she was. This was StarClan's land. It had to be. No other place was this magical, this beautiful. Ever. At all...
The cat in front of her was someone famliar... her own mother! What in the name of StarClan...?

Silverstar gave a loud yowl, one that described a broken heart, all of the pain, all of the suffering that the feral cats of clans felt. One that felt to be betrayed. Only to be softened by the excruciating pain that welled deep in her throat, and yet, deep in her soul. The ground was motionless, yet still, Silverstar knew this feeble and fickle feeling. It was the feeling every leader knew, you make a gamble with the Dark Forest, and you can only get burned by their flames of death. Yet, she didn't with the Dark Forest, but with no one.
Silverstar was losing her last life under her lost and former friend, Lightstar.
The she-cat collapsed, only to feel the soft, flattened grass that so much blood fell on-her blood. Her neck snapped, snapped like a twig. She heard it, of yes, Silverstar heard that bone crackling sound that silenced the whole battling clan. Feeling only her bloodied neck as everything went black.
She awakened in the starry fields, somewhat dazed. She knew it, this was it, it was StarClan. The sky was a soft blue, everything was in place, except for Silverstar, her heart ached with pain. She wasn't supposed to be here. She blinked, only to be greeted by her siblings and mother, oh how happy they looked. She was the only surviving member of her family, and yet, Lionkit looked so proud. They all stared at her. Sparrowflight simply whispered, "Silverstar, you have lost your last life."

Hawkrise yowled in shock as Silverstar laid limp. He knew she was losing another life. After this she would only have one life left. Why wouldn't one of the clans retreat? Why can't the fighting stop for now. All of these cats were losing alot of blood. His fur began to rise and he charged straight for the Boneclan leader. He leaped, screeching and claws outstretched, ready to kill if he had to.
