Silverstar walked ahead, perking her ears up once in the while to make sure Leopardpaw was coming. She twisted around and in the hills, when she had finally came up to a small clearing, where most cats took a break here. She looked at her apprentice with a sofr gaze, not too had, or strict, "So, what do you want catch prey or learn to battle first?" She asked, her voice slightly raspy from lack of water and food

"I can catch prey pretty well, lets learn how to fight. I haven't learned a new battle move in a very long time," Leopardpaw mewed, sitting down to take a small break. They hadn't come that far from camp, yet he looked much more tired than usual. His once shiny fur, now matted and dry.

Nodding, Silverstar stood up, "So be it, lets learn the one of the basic moves, the Teeth Grip. You need to target your opponent's extremities—the legs, tail, scruff, or ears—and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight." She mewed, tired, yet restless. Her thoughts were on how this starvation was going to end, as if soon, and as is she was going to live to the day it would turn into a free, food plentiful, peaceful one.

Leopardpaw's tail flicked happily. "I saw that move in the fight between Boneclan. It looks very useful and Greyheart looked like an expert at it. I can't wait to learn it," he mewed, sinking his claws into the ground, ready for her to continue.
